Interview!
San Diego (1 of about 3 parts)
The next epic adventure I had in California was going to San Diego. Marlene lives there so everyone else thought it would be a great idea to go there for a day and see what's up. Marlene and Abang Noor drove us there and decided to make a few pit stops one including their navy base. Let me remind you that this isn't just some run the mill kampung style navy base. This is some advanced whole giant Melaka size city navy base. I mean we're talking suburbs, large department stores, freakin psychiatric centres kind of place!
Abang Noor then brought us into that center in the picture above where we saw these:
It was Easter so they had all these delights hanging around inside all alone uneaten so we took advantage of it and tried to gobble as much as we can! :D
He then brought us to his navy dorm which by my (and my sister's standards) were very nice and cosy:
Next they brought us to Ocean Beach which is the home of the great Jason Mraz! It's a beautiful place filled with chilled out beach bums and sunny skies.
They then decided to bring us to somewhere us ladies all love....SHOPPING!!! I forgot the name of the place (I'll get back on that one) but here are some pictures:
So I guess that's about the ending of part 1 of my San Diego Saga! I'll do my best to update on more soon!

First Day
So I finally returned from my 2+ week trip to California with my mum and definitely will remain a memorable one (like seriously, I took over 400 photos in those 18 days). So since it's 5:32 am and I'm sort of jet lagged right now I thought it'll be a great idea to start blogging my experiences there. So this is how I'm gonna do it, I'm going to blog each adventure I had there separately with pictures to go along with it as not to confuse those who want to read it (like anyone reads this....pssh!). It will be in chronological order and it'll include some tips on how to get around. I won't be posting all of the pictures in here so if you my phantom readers want to see the full set, you're gonna have to go to my facebook page.
Okay, so here it goes................. first day;
I arrived at LAX on the 29th of March (US time) around 10:00pm and it wasn't a good experience. My mum and I were pretty exhausted from the 18 hour flight so all we wanted to do was get to my sister's house and sleep but the exact opposite happened. We arrived at immigration and had to stand in line for almost an hour (because them Americans airport people are really strict about the people coming in you see) only to be greeted by the world's most grumpiest Japanese immigration officer (yup, he was japanese) who did little in helping us passing through (we didn't fill in a certain section of the immigration form and he being the useless prick he is repeatedly told us in a monotonous tone that "you didn't fill in the form completely...." Uggh, so annoying!). So we had to ask help about that and filled the other requirements. We were then met with another (much nicer) immigration officer who asked us about our trip and my sister and where she lived and all which made me slightly happier. But all the happiness immediately diminished when we had to wait for probably another hour to get out of the airport because there was another check point we had to go through. This one requires us to declare the things we brought (includes food and wet stuff) with us to make sure it won't bring any harm to their precious country.
After that we waited outside in the freezing cold for Abang Noor and his lovely girlfriend Marlene to show up with Iylia to take us to the apartment complex. They decided to buy us some Mexican food first which will eventually play a large part to my constant food cravings I had there ssooo yeah! We went to the apartment and hung out a bit and decided to give them (Abg Noor and Marlene's) gifts.

Sorry I haven't really read your blog posts lately. i've been pretty busy last week and totally forgot that time past. so here are the things I would like in the letter:
-my participation and tingkah laku as head library prefect(2012)
- my work as treasurer in red house (just let him bullshit) in 2012
- the little participation work I did for the charity thing with previous library prefect head (Myra Mia, I have no idea what her full name is. I just used her name on facebook) in 2011
- My behaviour in class when he was teaching us history in 2009.
Oh and if possible, can you scan the certificate to me and send it to me via e-mail?
I know your really busy starting up A-levels real soon so I'm really sorry for only doing all of this last minute with you. I appreciate you doing all of this for me! :D You can tell mr. jeevan that he doesn't have to pass it you first. Just ask him ti send it to these e-mails right away:
jlove@iskl.edu.my
sabubakar@iskl.edu.my
aida2137@gmail.com
Just tell him to write in the email with the attachment saying that he is sending the letter (and if possible the certificate sekali) on Aida Binti Anis' behalf. Also tell him to bring up that I am one of the finalists for the iskl IB scholarship program because the people there don't really know who I am other than that.
I sent a copy of this post to your email bcos in that email there's another (private information) that mr. jeevan might probably need. My deadline to send it in is on the 17th of April so i hope it can be done real soon (no pressure). Oh and please don't send it to me on the 17th itself (and on the 16th as well) because I'l still be on a plane on my way back to Malaysia........... Sorry for the very high demands. I'm just really worried right now.....btw, how's KBU and stuff????
love,
Aida.....
